Microtrol help the post office upgrade their BMS system
Pete Tutalo of Romec Building Services contacted Microtrol to ask if we could solve the integrationIssues they was experiencing at the Post Office head quarters in Sheffield. Having been quoted large sums of money to integrate an old Mitsubishi VRF system on to a new Trend BMS system. We were able to save thousands of pounds, as we bypassed the need for a new central controller and separate interfaces to control the 96 fan coil units.
We installed 2 X MT-50D integrators which fed direct into 2 x Trend IQ3’s and within 2 hours the Post office had total control of the Air Conditioning system and achieved what others had tried for months without success.
Pete is very please with the results and the savings, and certainly has prospects for utilising Black Pear products on further projects.

Microtrol Pedals to Paris and raises over £3000 for children's charity ACTION MEDICAL RESEARCH
CONGRATULATIONS to two of our team who took to the roads and cycled from London to Paris. Taking three and a half days and averaging 80 miles a day. Arriving in Paris the day before history was made by Bradley Wiggins winning the Tour De France. The first Briton to do so in the history of the race. This challenge raised in the region of £500,000 for the ACTION MEDICAL RESEARCH charity. Microtrol wants to thank all the people who have given them such generous support. well done!
